If you contact us, sign up to our newsletter or make a purchase, you will be required to provide personal information to place an order, or for us to keep in touch. If you wish to purchase from us, you will also need to provide payment details such as your credit or debit card number.

To enable us to provide a service and deliver any goods purchased, we will need to collect certain information. This includes your title, name, address, contact telephone number, email address, order details and payment details.

How we use the data collected

Any personal data we collect will be used to fulfil orders placed via our website, over the phone, or in person; or to contact you with any queries regarding the order. We will never use your data to contact you with promotions or events unless you have opted to be added to our mailing list.

Where the data is stored

Details for orders placed through our website or over the phone, are stored in our ecommerce system Roman Cart, which is a password protected site. Orders taken in person do not require all information stated above but will be securely stored as part of our business records.

Third Parties

When we are required to post orders, we will need to share some personal information with our delivery services, Royal Mail, myHermes and Global Freight Solutions. This will include your postal address and possibly a contact email address or telephone number. We cannot be held responsible for their use of your data, but for further information please visit their respective sights to view their privacy policies. Card payments processed though our website are done so via PayPal. Card payments taken over the phone or in person are processed via Merchant Mobile or the Creditcall WebMIS website. Personal data we have collected will never be sold or traded with a third party.


Security is of utmost importance when you contact or purchase from Kate Sproston Design. As you can see from the padlock icon displayed in the web address bar at the top of the screen, our website is verified, and you are therefore shopping on a secure site. We are also PCI DSS Compliant which ensures unbeatable security & protection of sensitive customer information including credit card details.

Google Analytics

When someone visits our website, we are able to use Google analytics to assess how visitors interact with our site. We are able to analyse how a visitor navigated the internet in order to find us, i.e. via a google search, social media, etc. This information is completely anonymous and only records site traffic and interaction. Neither ourselves or Google will make any attempt to discover the identities of visitors.
